By connecting liquidity across the network, incentivizing anticipatory market formation, and aligning economic participants behind a single token, Aero is designed to be the best place to trade, earn, and launch onchain. **Trade.** [Metaswaps](/features/metaswaps/) will allow users to swap tokens across supported chains, powered by onchain liquidity rather than offchain counterparties. **Earn.** LPs will deposit into [Slipstream](/features/slipstream/) concentrated liquidity pools, with Dynamic Fees that adjust to market conditions and MEV Capture on supported L2s. sAERO holders will direct AERO Rewards to pools across the liquidity network using [Predictive Allocation](/features/predictive-allocation/) and earning a share of Exchange Revenue as it accrues. **Launch.** Anyone will be able to create a market permissionlessly. For eligible liquidity pools, incentives can be deposited to efficiently attract LP rewards that deepen liquidity even ahead of demand. **Under the hood.** The [AER Engine](/articles/the-aer-engine-and-the-aero-economy/) will optimize the token economy, calculating AERO Rewards in dollar value and dynamically capping the rate of rewards per-pool to track projected revenue, allowing LPs to earn more while also controlling inflation. ![Aero features: AER Engine, REV Engine, Slipstream V3, Predictive Allocation, Autopilot, Metaswaps, and Dynamic Fees.](/_astro/launch-features.CJ6S6s3G_2pOSAK.webp) ## Building in the open skies Ten months ago, we announced that Aerodrome and Velodrome would merge to form Aero. Since then, we’ve added entirely new primitives like [Predictive Allocation](/features/predictive-allocation/), strengthened the security audit, including a Mythos-powered review, and [launched Aero Lite on Arc](/articles/aero-lite-is-live-on-arc/). Now, the public audit contest is complete, final fixes are being merged, the full Aero app will soon enter final QA, and coordination with ecosystem partners is underway. We’re deeply grateful to the Aerodrome and Velodrome communities for their patience and continued support. Today, the chains Aerodrome and Velodrome serve account for about 17% of EVM spot trading volume. This launch is set to roughly triple that. At launch, Aero will be able to grow in two ways at once: by winning a greater share of the current market, and by expanding with the growth of the overall onchain economy as tokenization brings new assets onchain. The list of launch chains is now final. Arbitrum brings one of the deepest DeFi ecosystems in Ethereum. All seven launch chains get a full Aero deployment.
